Local Cirencester Charity Seeks New Trustees

Watermoor House Residential Care Home is appealing for new trustees to join its board.

Trustees oversee the work of this long running care home and would welcome applications from new trustees, especially if you have a background in finance or accounting, business or the care industry.

Kate Badcock, a former GP and trustee of Watermoor House, became a trustee in 2007 and said: ‘The transition 9 years ago from being a visiting GP to being ‘ on the inside’ of a very special care home has been fascinating, challenging and very rewarding’.

Founded as a care home in 1952, Watermoor House has been providing outstanding care to its residents for over 65 years. The dedicated team provide care for up to 37 residents in a comfortable, caring and homely environment.

If you would like to find out more about becoming a trustee, please contact Helen Wallace on businessmanager@watermoorhouse.org
