Heritage Open Days 13th -15th September 2019
Leaflets giving details of the 25th Heritage Open Days event are available in the Information Centres and shops/cafes in Cirencester. Organised by the Civic Society each year there are the usual buildings and walks to visit and enjoy together with two new buildings-St. Peters Church and Weavers Hall-the latter is the oldest continuously occupied dwelling in the Town dating from 1493 and recently restored.
Three new walks are included –A Civil War walk and The Cirencester Park walk on Saturday and Victorian Cirencester on Sunday. Over 20 properties will be open free of charge and the Town Band will be playing outside The Mansion Gates from 11 am to 12 noon.
