Guide Dogs is looking for volunteers in Cirencester, who could help support the charity’s work in the local area.
The charity is inviting local people along to a volunteer recruitment event at The Coffee House on Elliott Road, Cirencester, on October 1st from 10am until 12pm, to find out more about volunteering for Guide Dogs.
Michelle Parsons, Guide Dogs’ Volunteering Consultant who covers Cirencester, said “Volunteering for Guide Dogs is fun, flexible and extremely rewarding.
“We have lots of different volunteering roles available in the Cirencester area, from supporting us with our fundraising to being a volunteer sighted guide.
“No previous experience is required for most of our volunteering roles and Guide Dogs provides you with all the training you need to carry out a role.
“We’re looking forward to meeting the people of Cirencester and sharing with them all of the ways they can get involved.”
Staff members will also be joined by local existing volunteers and local guide dog owners at the event.

If you cannot come along to the recruitment event, but would like to find out more about volunteering for Guide Dogs in Cirencester, please contact Michelle Parsons on 0345 143 0194 or email michelle.parsons@guidedogs.org.uk
