Life after COVID19
Elite Beds and Mattresses was formed in March 2016 and has shops in Devizes, Thatcham and Cirencester with a 4th one in Amesbury put on hold until the Covid 19 pandemic settles down.
Since this Prime Minister announced on 23rd March that all non-essential businesses to shut shop all our shops have been closed.
We have been offering a delivery service since the 24th March to assist people who have been left needing an emergency bed or mattress.
Customers have rang us with emergency requirements for beds who have had relatives being released from hospital and not allowed home without a bed downstairs and we managed to deliver and help these families get their relatives home.
With knowledgeable staff, some with over 20 years’ experience we feel we can help you select a new mattress over the phone. Our telephone lines are open 9am – 9pm on 0800 0663772 at busy times you may be diverted to an answerphone, please leave a message and we will call back.
Going forward we are putting together plans for our staff and customers wellbeing.
Subject to Government guidance and approval we are working on procedures to allow us to open and provide customers and staff with as much protection from COVID19 as possible.
We will encourage customers to make an appointment to visit the showroom and will only allow one person, family or couple to visit a showroom at any one time. If there is no customer in the showroom or due shortly, we will allow non booked customers to enter the showroom.
All hard surfaces and door handles will be cleaned on a regular basis with an antibacterial cleaning solution.
Each shop will have a hand Sanitising station at the entrance of each shop and customers will be instructed to sanitise on entering the showroom.
The customer will be provided with a disposable pillow case for use with shop pillows which will be used when testing mattresses.
Only one member of staff will be present in the shop at any one time, this is to help with social distancing. We will observe a 2 meter distance at all times and ask customers to observe the same.
Deliveries are currently by one driver, however we hope to re-introduce two man deliveries when practical.
