Cirencester Growth Hub Sep 2020

An office building, if you remember them.

Hello from Cirencester Growth Hub

Doors are Re-Opening for Members

It is now almost six months since the Gloucestershire Growth Hubs closed their physical doors and started supporting businesses digitally with; online workshops, one2ones, business advice and grant support information. The teams have been working tirlessly to ensure all businesses received the support they needed. With a number of restrictions now lifting we are delighted to announce that the doors are beginning to re-open once again. This reopening is positive news for the 1,000’s of local employees who have found themselves working from home and with no end to that insight.

According to employer predictions made as part of CIPD research almost two in five (37 per cent) employees will be working from home on a regular basis once the crisis is over compared to just a fifth (18 per cent) who did so before lockdown. Working from home is not always easy for everyone due to space available, children or just needing company. A coworking space can help relieve these issues. The Growth Hub network offers 4 co-working spaces across Gloucestershire with one based here in Cirencester on the site of the Royal Agricultural University.

Deb Govier from the Cirencester Growth Hub stated, “We have already received a number of enquiries about the co working packages available as less people are commuting to London and also more local businesses are shutting their offices for cost saving reasons and their staff then having to find places to work.”

Cirencester Growth Hub is currently open to members only. The team will continue to follow government guidelines with regards to social distancing and will open to non-members as soon as it’s safe to do so, in order to allow a larger number of people into the space.

If you’d like to find out more about membership call 01285 889850 or email cirencester@thegrowthhub.biz.
