We resumed our group walks on Easter Sunday 4th April. This was very good news after what has felt like a long, and sometimes rather dreary winter. As usual, we have a varied programme of walks and events, and our thanks are due to the programme coordinators and walk leaders who have put this together in these rapidly changing circumstances.
Booking Required – You must pre-book your place on a walk with the walk leader or POC as we expect numbers will be limited to a maximum of 30 walkers. The walk leader may reduce that number because of the Covid hazards on the route, parking limitations, etc. If you have to drop out, then please let the Walk Leader or POC know asap so others can take your place.
Meeting Place/Start – Walkers must make their way directly to the start as we are not operating a meeting place at present. The walk leader/POC can advise on the exact start location and time.
Face Coverings – Where we may encounter members of the general public, eg car parks, villages and towns etc. you are asked to wear face coverings as an additional Covid precaution until we are on open ground again. This particularly applies to start/finish locations.
Details of walks can be found on our website www.cirencesterramblers.org.uk
