50+ local businesses answer the call
Over 50 businesses in Cirencester have signed up in the last three weeks! What fantastic support for our idea to get customers back into the town. Can we say a big thank you to all of you who have signed up and encourage those who haven’t, to do so very soon!
You can choose from 6 different packages with an entry package of £20.00 going up to £100 for package 6 where you can offer customers regular weekly promotions.
My Cirencester is an initiative by Cirencester Chamber of Commerce. Having conceived the idea over a year ago, for the last few months the ‘My Cirencester Card‘ team have been finalising the launch package which is going live over the Bank Holiday weekend 29th May.
The June Ciren Scene should include your very own push-out card and explanatory leaflet. Whether you are a business owner or a resident, we want you to support the town and use the card.
Simply detach the card and register it and you are good to go!
The ‘My Cirencester Card’ couldn’t come at a better time because even though shops have reopened, we haven’t seen shoppers return in huge numbers …YET. We hope the card will help change that.
If you go to www.mycirencester.co.uk, you will see all the businesses that have joined the scheme. To give readers a flavour of what’s on offer, they come from right across the town.
Corinium Paints, Elite Gyms and Glass Act on Love Lane Industrial Estate are offering great deals. The Barn Theatre have joined with exciting themed promotions linked to plays, whilst Cirencester Sales and Lettings in Ashcroft Road are offering packages for landlords and potential vendors. Next door neighbours Prints & Threads have signed up too, so make sure you get your company logo on your branded work clothing!
In Swan Yard and Blackjack Street, Joli Beau, Con Amore and Drizzle Chocolate are also on board. In the Corn Hall we can start at the entrance and welcome Pulse clothing who were the first to sign up on the top package – package 6! Impressively lots of stall holders in the Corn Hall have signed up including Elephant Silks, Jade, Jemima Shaw and Jolly Wild. Not to be left out we have two new retailers in Dyer Street; Jubilee Galleries and Lime, plus eateries in Castle Street, Asha at Somewhere Else and Igloo.
You can join the My Cirencester scheme at any time, and if you have signed up and want to upgrade your package that is easy to do too!
