We’ve a double cause for celebration here at Proposito Financial Planning in Cirencester – exam success for one of the team and completing our enjoyable fundraising step challenge.
Congratulations goes to Jade Shelton, who has now passed her financial planning exams, achieving her Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
Our Managing Director, chartered financial planner Huw Jones, will continue to mentor and support Jade as she grows in confidence and her abilities to be a fantastic financial planner.
Jade said: “I feel extremely proud to have received my qualification. Whilst I studied and passed all these exams myself, I could not have done any of it without the support from my partner, my colleagues, my family and my friends. A special thanks goes to Huw; he has blessed me with such an amazing opportunity, and I feel so grateful to be part of such a wonderful team. Whilst I have been working in this profession for nearly eight years, I feel as though my journey is only just beginning and I’m so excited to see what the future holds.”
Huw added: “This is a massive achievement, and we are extremely proud of Jade for her dedication and commitment to her studies.”
Our second success was completing our step challenge to raise money for The Churn Project, which is marking its 20th anniversary this year.
Together, we managed to exceed our target of 202,021 steps, and in fact over the course of the 20-day challenge, as a team we completed a whopping 642,745 steps, racking up 274.81 miles and enduring 2,059 of active minutes. And, even better, we raised nearly £200.
