Happy New year from the team here at Adkins Property Group, we start 2022 with excitement having been voted BEST Estate Agent for sales and BEST Letting Agent in Cirencester, GL7 & Gloucestershire. We were awarded 9 prestigious awards at the end of last year by allAgents ‘the tripAdvisor of the property industry’.

The medals are awarded on a combination of customer service, fee satisfaction and the time taken to sell or let our clients’ properties. The reviews and customer feedback are all verified by allAgents before being calculated then published. 1000’s of Estate and Letting agents throughout the country take part in competing to be the best!

In recent years our letting department has been award gold for Cirencester & GL7 with our sales department winning silver of the same. 2021 has been a bumper year for agents nationally and locally, many homeowners have chosen to move searching for more inside space and larger gardens. Working from home has been the driving force following the pandemic.

Locally, we have seen a huge increase in demand for property, family homes seem to be the most popular following the pandemic, first time buyers and investors have also increased the demand for property. With this, there has been a noticeable shortage of homes for sale and to let, clearly the lack of supply has helped to drive prices up.

Moving forwards, we expect demand for property to be much the same with supply hopefully picking up as it does seasonally, an imbalance of supply will naturally continue to drive prices upwards. Early signs are that we are receiving a steady flow of valuations and enquiries from homeowners thinking to sell in 2022.
