Hey, it’s February!
Already, it’s the second month of the year … doesn’t time fly. And at Corinium Radio, we have lots to celebrate. Did you know it is National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day on Sunday 6th February? Plus, it’s also British Yorkshire Pudding Day. I think I’ll be combining these the two. Who said February was a dreary month! So, look out for some fun photographs on our social media channels to mark both of these significant events. But the biggest February event of all, of course, is Valentines Day. Join us for a seriously smoochy approach on Monday 14th.
In between all of this though, you can always listen to your favourite shows on Corinium Radio, all made by our wonderful volunteer presenters. They really are a talented bunch and, very soon, you will be able to hear some new voices sharing their shows on Corinium Radio. And if you want to see what we could be doing beyond February, just look on our NEWSpage on www.coriniumradio.com and find out about plans to mark Local Community Radio Day as well as our Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. To kickstart the fun, Corinium Radio is asking our listeners to come up with some very special recipes so we can enter The Platinum Pudding Competition. The winning entry could be served to the Queen as well as eaten at every street party up and down the country celebrating Her Majesty’s 70 years as Monarch. So put on your thinking cap and apron and let us know if you are also hoping to take this very special prize!
