What a day! Corinium Radio was thrilled to be invited by the PPG (Patients Participation Group) to bring you fabulous music and conversation straight from Cirencester’s Market Place as part of their event with the theme of The NHS and Beyond. Organised in conjunction with Cirencester Town Council, it was a day that brought so many groups together under the Health and Wellbeing banner.
Thanks to Charles, Dan and Alex, we played out some extremely jolly music and gave lots of ‘shout-outs’ to promote the work of organisations like Hope Cirencester, the Big Yellow Bus Project and Alcoholics Anonymous as well as, of course, the PPG. This is just one example of how Corinium Radio supports those organisations which, like us, operate at the heart of their local communities. Our volunteer Presenters and Producers range in age from 15 years old to 80+ and we always welcome enquiries from anyone who is interested in learning a new skill and making new friends.
