Linc Charity Jubilee Cycle Ride – Sunday 17 July 2022

Fitness, Fun and Fundraising to support

Past participants,

local cancer patients undergoing intensive chemotherapy treatments.

The LINC annual 3 Counties Cycle Ride is taking place on Sunday 17th July 2022.

This year with a Jubilee theme! Both teams and individuals can enter, and there are prizes for the best dressed jubilee-themed participants, and the most money raised!

This stunning ride will start and finish at Tewkesbury Rugby Club and participants have a choice of the 64 Km or 32 Km route. Both routes take in Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire – the three counties served by LINC charity.

At the end of the ride, all cyclists and their families are welcome to our usual hearty BBQ and bar at the Rugby Club.  On the longer route, Bromsberrow School will be open for refreshments and a well-earned break.

Every penny raised will help support local people through challenging intensive chemotherapy treatments. Sponsorship is not essential, but it is hugely helpful to us – all participants are encouraged to ask friends and family to support them in this challenge.

LINC – The Leukaemia & Intensive Chemotherapy Fund provides essential counselling, new equipment and financial support to local NHS patients struggling with leukaemia, lymphoma and other blood cancers.

Typical feedback from our patients:

“I can’t praise the LINC funded Rendcomb ward (Cheltenham General Hospital) enough, it was comfortable and bright and gave you that sense of home which you certainly need when going through such a tough treatment.”

“I have met some fantastic people through LINC and hope to continue being a friend and supporter of the Charity for a very long time. Thank you NHS and LINC.”
