… and it’s called Cirencester Radio

Saturday 1st October 2022 was set as the launch date for Cirencester Radio, our new local community radio station, created and built by the skills and enthusiasm of a fantastic team of volunteer Presenters and Producers.
Take a look at our easy-to-listen-to new web-radio website www.CirencesterRadio.co.uk and spot a wonderful selection of shows such as The Power of Music, presented By Duncan Belcher who encourages you to complete your playlist for life or, for those listeners who are especially keen on jazz, tune in to Charlie’s Jazz Picks – brought to you in association with The Jazz Cave, a monthly concert in Cirencester, showcasing the best of LIVE jazz in the heart of the Cotswolds.
And, just to keep you on your toes, we have a SPECIAL slot in our schedule on Saturday evenings when we can really go to town highlighting some of the most interesting and exciting ‘happenings’ in the area. In October, listen out for everything from Activius Rotary to the Ciren Music for Ukraine concert, from the Ben Holder Gypsy Quartet to the performance from the Jubilate Chamber Choir conducted by Ian Higginson – all taking place in our home town of Cirencester!
It’s a great time to join us as a volunteer Programme-maker in this next exciting phase of Cirencester Radio. Just contact me, Carole Boydell, on 07776 144033 or email caroleboydell@CirencesterRadio.co.uk for more information.
