Barn Theatre: The True Adventures of Marian and Robin Hood: 21st Nov-31st Dec

Cast and Creatives for Robin Hood

Christmas is just around the corner!

As the Barn prepares for the final production of what has been an amazing 2022 program, the award-winning venue is looking forward to welcoming back some familiar faces on the creative team for their Christmas extravaganza, THE TRUE ADVENTURES OF MARIAN & ROBIN HOOD which opens on the 21st NOVEMBER and runs until 31st DECEMBER.

Writer, Alan Pollock returns for another annual Christmas production at the Barn, following the hugely successful runs of his previous festive adaptations of A Christmas Carol, and last season’s, The Brothers Grimm Present: Cinderella, which was named as one of the UK’s best Christmas family shows of 2021 by the Observer. Dylan Townley is also back as composer and musical director, along with Francesca Goodridge as director following the last year’s blockbuster show.

A cast of eight actor musicians will bring a feast of myth, music and medieval slapstick that is sure to entertain the whole family. From acrobats to Normans with dodgy haircuts combined with some technical, magical wizardry; the Barn Theatre’s Christmas production will have it all, and more, as Marian and Robin join forces to thwart the hapless Sherriff and overthrow his evil protector Prince John…. the wickedest man alive…!

But don’t delay, they’ve already sold out 17 performances, so be quick! Book early to ensure you get the best seats for this much talked about show.

After all, Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without a trip to the Barn.

With family tickets from as little as £7.50 per person (plus booking fee) you can’t go wrong. To book your tickets go to barntheatre.org.uk or call Barn Theatre box office on 01285 648255.
