Cirencester Radio Feb 23: Cirencester Radio Supports Local Businesses

David Fowles of CCOC who hosts a monthly business show.

Cirencester Radio’s mission is to broadcast from the heart of our local community. This is a laudable statement and one that all our volunteer Presenters and Producers take seriously, making shows that reflect local people’s interests. We want to help our listeners tell their stories and share their passions and we do this through our programmes – whether they are about music, news items or interviews with local businesses.

We have a long history of showcasing what makes business owners and managers tick through The Brains Behind The Business programme – and we are now proud to announce that we will be welcoming Cirencester Chamber of Commerce to Cirencester Radio as they curate a roundup of local business news every month, starting in February.

Local businesses need our support. They do a magnificent job, creating a vibrant feel to our market square and the surrounding streets. It can be so easy to turn to the internet for every-day purchases but don’t forget that it is often the case that the local shopkeeper can provide so much more with specialist knowledge, advice and care, helping you make the right decision about everything from books to photographs or clothes to flowers. Next time you pop in for a coffee, step into the shop next door and see what is on offer! And, of course listen to David Fowles of Cotswold Media, presenting the monthly Business News show, fresh from Cirencester Chamber of Commerce on www.CirencesterRadio.co.uk
