Mindful to keep the character and charm of the grand Victorian building, new owners Michelle and Jason Aplin recently refurbished the licenced restaurant with their acquired antiques inside and Michelle’s sculptures outside. Come and see the carefully created handmade pieces set against the serene Cotswold landscape, offering a blend of reflection and inspiration.
Led by Cotswolds Chef of the Year 2020 winner Dan Richards, whose expertise and enthusiasm radiates in his delicious classic cuisine, using locally sourced fresh ingredients. “The Rectory Tiered Luncheon” takes the conventional Afternoon Tea to the next level, or the Summer Set Menu with in-house smoked produce has something for everyone. The Old Rectory Sunday Roast is one of the best in the area.
The walled cottage garden is the perfect place to relax and savour a locally brewed beer or chilled glass of wine. Our son Kalon will ensure your beverage requirements are accommodated. Try our exclusive range of cocktails, including a Raucous Rectory Rum, the refreshing Proverbial Poms Pimm’s, or a Wicked Whisk.
Our range of tea and coffee is sourced from local company Fire & Flow, whose passion to deliver superior flavour is admirable.
