With fewer than 100 days to go – Cirencester Radio asks, is it too early to plan for Christmas?
The nominations for the inaugural Cirencester Community Awards have now closed and we are all eagerly awaiting the grand celebration at the Kings Head Hotel this month but, alongside this, we are donning our thinking caps and planning for the next Big Thing … Christmas! Such a lovely time of the year, but at our local radio station, we need to start looking now at all those amazing opportunities to help spread the cheer through promoting and broadcasting events such as Carol Services and festive markets. Our diary is starting to fill up now so, if you have an event you would like to publicise, please contact us now on: studio@CirencesterRadio.co.uk And, first off the mark is the women’s refuge which covers the whole of Gloucestershire with their fabulous range of Christmas cards designed by local artists. If you’re looking for inspiration, check out: https://www.stroudwomensrefuge.org/shop
But, back to October – and don’t forget to go to our website to find out who has been presented with a Cirencester Community Award 2023.
