As darkness fell on the 11th October, close to 100 members of our fantastic community gathered in one of the most impressive venues, the Kings Head Hotel, to celebrate all the wonderful organisations and individuals who do so much for our fabulous town.
In the presence of His Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant of Gloucestershire, awards were presented to some of the most outstanding examples of sustainability, innovation and team-working, along with a special award to three Cirencester Champions who were nominated by their colleagues, in honour of their commitment to the town.

Congratulations to everyone who entered the awards, and our grateful thanks to our amazing band of businesses who sponsored the evening or donated their skills and expertise. Special thanks are also due to CCDT (our Award co-hosts), the Kings Head Hotel, Close Hand Magician Alex Robertson, and Ciren Scene Magazine for their ongoing support plus, of course, the super Cirencester Radio Team who work so hard to showcase our town.

And now for some hot-off-the-press news. We are proud to announce that Cirencester Radio is also the recipient of a tremendous accolade, having been named Local Radio Broadcaster of the Year – Gloucestershire in the Southern Enterprise Awards 2023. It’s great to put Cirencester on the map yet again! Congratulations to our Team!
