Autumn Gala Concert, 7th November 7.30pm
Cirencester Parish Church, Market Place
In Aid of The South Western Ambulance Charity
Celtic Harpist Harriet Earis has twice been named Harper of All Britain. The City of Bath Male Choir won first prize at the world’s biggest choral festival in Cornwall earlier this year.
It’s a compelling guest list joining the Cirencester Male Voice Choir at St John Baptist on November 7th for a gala concert in aid of the South Western Ambulance Charity.
Specialising in Welsh, Scottish and Irish music, Harriet has been invited to do 18 tours of the USA to 25 different states, as well as giving regular tours in France, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Ireland and Italy. And she has performed as a soloist to 25,000 people in the 02 Arena and in the Royal Albert Hall.
The City of Bath Male Choir is now in its 19th year, and have sung in concerts with Jamie Cullum, Aled Jones, Katherine Jenkins, Alfie Boe and Clare Teal performing in some of the most prestigious concert venues to sellout crowds.
In 2008 the Choir achieved national acclaim when they reached the finals of the BBC television choir competition Last Choir Standing.
Every year the Cirencester Male Voice Choir brings more and more prestigious guests to their concerts and now under the baton of new Musical Director Jeslyn Asir promise an evening of amazing music.
Tickets for the event can be purchased at Bingham House, 1 Dyer Street or online at cirencestermvc.co.uk
