Cirencester Civic Society wants to remind people of its Civic Pride awards, which are available to any community group or person living in Cirencester.
The Society will make a grant of up to £250 towards any project which enhances the town either by increasing civic pride or wellbeing. Examples of possible projects are establishing a small community garden or planting a street tree to enhance a neighbourhood. Or providing the cost of materials to remove graffiti, to repaint railings or to tackle a “grot spot” in the town.
The main criteria are that it should meet the Society’s objectives which are to “to encourage the preservation, development and improvement of features of general public amenity or historic interest”.

If you have a suitable project, please contact secretary@ccsoc.org.uk for an application form, or for advice.
