September 2023

Join Cirencester Radio as we celebrate a whole host of fabulous events and occasions. We welcomed a new Presenter to our team this month so listen in to Alan Ford’s Sunday Showdown on www.CirencesterRadio.co.uk if you want a taste of relaxing, end-of-the -weekend listening. We also say “hello” to Charlie who is just starting his training to present and produce his own programme. Get in touch with us if you would like to know more about how you can join Charlie and our fantastic team of volunteer Presenters.

As always, the Phoenix festival was a huge success with so many visitors enjoying this free event. Cirencester Radio always supports the festival, and this year was no exception. Thanks to Canon Graham and his team, we were able to welcome and signpost everyone to the festival from our pop-up studio, showcasing bands, visitors and stallholders. If you missed the festival – or want to re-live the memory – we’ve made it really easy to find Cirencester Radio and LISTEN AGAIN, just scan the QR code on this page.

Why don’t you help celebrate our town and the people who make our community so amazing? The Cirencester Community Awards aims to celebrate all those organisations, clubs and individuals who do so much for our town. The closing date is Friday 22nd September so, you still have time to be part of the celebration which is brought to you by Cirencester Radio and Cirencester Community Development Trust (CCDT) alongside our sponsors The Kings Head Hotel, Aspire Networking, Orange Strip Telecom and Short Story Ventures.

Cirencester Radio, Proud to be Local. A volunteer-led online community radio station created and built by the skills and enthusiasm of a fantastic team of Presenters and Producers broadcasting from the heart of Cirencester.
