Craftival returns to New Brewery Arts for another year to celebrate all things craft with our community of makers, craftspeople, local charities, families and community groups.
The festival of craft will run for seven weeks (29th May – 12th July) with each week having a different theme catering for children who like to craft through to professional makers.
The packed schedule will include a series of talks, workshops, drop-ins, and fairs all held in our beautiful gallery space at the heart of our building – the former Cirencester Brewery site.
We look forward to welcoming a broad range of speakers, including Let’s Make Art, Sarah Corbett (author Craftivism), Yeshen Venema (Photographer), Holly von Bock (Slow Love founder), Nick Hunt (CEO Cotswold Lakes Brew Co.) and many more.
A highlight of the event will be a silent disco fundraiser – ticket £10 for adults (Fri 13th June) and a second family event (£6) for under 18s (Sat 14th June) where all profits will go towards New Brewery Hearts, our scheme to help those in our community who may be struggling to access the health and wellbeing benefits of craft.
New Brewery Arts CEO Beth Alden says: “Our New Brewery Hearts week, in particular, will be a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness of our brilliant local charity partners as well as raise money for our New Brewery Hearts scheme, which provides access to craft to those in our community who may be struggling.
“We invite you, our community, to come down to our beautiful gallery to enjoy the events.”
New Brewery Arts is a charity that connects people with the hand-made, promotes the joy and fulfilment of making and celebrates the role of craft and creativity in all our lives.
