Make a difference in your local community – become a volunteer with Citizens Advice

We are currently looking for Admin & Triage Volunteers to join our team.

You must be computer literate, but we provide full training for the role.

You’ll be a friendly face, greeting callers at the door of our Stroud office, Cirencester office or our Dursley outreach at the library. You will triage callers without an appointment – identifying emergencies and signposting to other agencies when appropriate.

Alongside this you will carry out a range of administrative tasks supporting our frontline advisers, like communicating with clients over telephone or email, and handling inward and outbound post.

You will also be trained once you are familiar with the tasks above to answer our freephone helpline to clients (this does not involve giving advice).

We ask that you can regularly volunteer 6-8 hours per week with us  and can commit to a period of at least 6 months.
