May 11th Gloriana – Cappella Nova Chamber Choir: Music sacred and profane from the eras of Elizabeth 1 and Elizabeth 2 from Byrd and Tallis to Britten and Vaughan Williams. Proceeds to Longfield Community Hospice. 7.30 Tickets £12-£15.
May 18th Jazz Defenders: Led by one of the UK’s most formidable jazz pianists, George Cooper, the group are born from a deep love of Blue Note jazz, drawing on a wealth of inspiration to craft their own raw and vibrant compositions. 7.30 Tickets: 12.50-£16.50
May 19 The Bookshop Band: In collaboration with the award-winning Bath bookshop, Mr B’s Emporium of Reading Delights, Ivor Novello-nominated composers Beth Porter and Ben Please write songs inspired by the books of the visiting authors including Margaret Attwood and Phillip Pullman
