Just after morning break on Thursday 16th February the Reception and Year 1 children at Stratton CoE Primary were treated to a big surprise! The playground just got a bit more exciting with the arrival of a wealth of new ride-on toys, kindly gifted by Miles Guerrini of Mighty Oaks Holiday Clubs. The school has strong links with Mighty Oaks, many of its pupils attend its holiday clubs held at Cirencester Primary School, Stratton Primary and its main Clubhouse in the centre of town.
Following Mighty Oaks’ sponsorship of the school’s popular Christmas Fayre, the new scooters and trikes were purchased as the perfect addition to break time!
The Children could not contain their excitement and there was lots of clapping and squeals as the toys were unveiled and the ribbon was cut.
