We are delighted to have former TV and Blue Peter presenter Anthea Turner opening our fete this year, and we hope she will be staying on to muck in with other events and chat.
Fun Dog Show
Once more we are featuring our very popular dog show, which will take place 2pm-3pm, judged by popular local vet, Rod Benson. Following feedback, this year we have a new improved layout, and the show ring will be in the centre of the event.
Dog show Categories
- Best Boy
- Best Girl
- Handsome Boys
- Gorgeous Girls
- Best Young Handler
Finally, the Best in Show will be chosen by our judge from all the entrants.
Entry Fee £2 per class
All dogs must be kept on a lead throughout the duration of the fete.
Please pick up after your dog.
Tug o’ War
New this year is the Grand Tug o’ War match at 3pm.  For this we need teams of six. A minimum mix 2 male / 2 female. Suggested donation £5 per team. It should be a blast! Please register in advance by 12th June, to stu.biz553@googlemail.com
Games & Activities
We have plenty of games and activities for all, including an Art & Craft tent, an Obstacle Race, Splat the Rat, Coconut Shy, Welly Wanging, Beat the Goalie, Water or Wine, plus various table games.
Local stalls and RAFFLE
We have various craft and food stalls, and a Plant Stall too. A tombola and a magnificent RAFFLE with brilliant prizes!

You won’t Go Hungry!
We have a Beer Tent, a Pimm’s Bar, a BBQ, Ice cream, Snacks, and a Refreshment Tent with tea, coffee and scrumptious cakes
There will be plenty of events to enjoy including:
- Tug of War – Mixed teams of 6 (£5 entry fee per team)
- BBQ
- Beer and Pimm’s Tent
- Cream Teas
- Live Music
- Tombola
- Children’s Games and Craft Tent
- Stalls
- Raffle with fabulous hampers and gift vouchers from various local businesses.
