The NumberCruncher Discovery Workshops

At the end of last year, the government announced a delay to ITSA (Income Tax Self Assessment) mandate which will require self-employed and landlords with an income of £50,000 or more to keep digital records and provide quarterly updates through MTD compatible software.  Originally set for April 2024 this has been postponed to April 2026 and it is expected lower incomes will be affected from 2027 onwards.

This Xero and Dext discovery workshop will give you a good overview of what is possible and how a simpler business life might be.  It gets you ready for where you need to be, from photo-ing expenses to connecting bank feeds we will show you and explain in simple terms what’s behind the technology and why it is already working for millions of businesses.

The workshop will suit any individual or business who is working with paper systems or working with an accountant who can’t help them with software or using other software like Quickbooks, Free Agent or Sage and would like an overview of Xero features.

Howard says ‘Having a tech savvy accountant is going to be really important over the coming years as HMRC introduce ITSA digital tax returns for the self-employed.  This means that instead of filing one self-assessment you will have to file 4 quarterly returns each year and it must be done online’

It is a free workshop but spaces are limited to 10 for each session so please book early at www.eventbrite.co.uk and search for ‘Xero Dext Workshop’ or call us.
