With the delivery of the new neighbourhood for Cirencester at The Steadings, a number of improvement works will take place across the local area.
The roundabout on the dual carriageway in Cirencester, closest to the Fire Station, along with the mini-roundabout at the junction of Love Lane and Midland Road, will undergo a major upgrade from the end of July to improve traffic capacity and flows, safety, and mitigate flooding in this area.
- Work will start on 29th July 2024, a week after the Royal International Air Tattoo, with a completion date in Spring 2025.
- Preliminary enabling works will start on 24th June 2024 for one week in the centre of the existing roundabout.
- Work will not affect access to and from the Fire Station.
These works form part of Bathurst Development’s programme of considerable investment and infrastructure improvements within the local area, which will bring forward a host of benefits to the wider community as part of the development of The Steadings.
We appreciate the improvement works will cause some disruption, for which we do apologise in advance for the inconvenience this necessary work will cause.
