From April 2026, taxpayers with turnover of more than £50,000 are required to join MTD ITSA (Making Tax Digital – Income Tax Self-Assessment) and those with a turnover of £30,000 will be required to join from April 2027 and this will include income from self-employment and property.
The tax returns will have to be submitted digitally, and paper filing will NOT be available.
We at the numbercrunchers wanted to keep our packages super simple and our self-employed package includes the phone app and filing for all your quarterly tax returns. Our self-employed packages are powered by Dext a software so simple just a phone snap or email gives us all the information we need.
This self-employed offer would suit consultants, beauticians or instructors but is also targeted to any trades, builders, plasterers, labourers, plumbers, chippies or sparkies and if you are stopped CIS tax then we will even handle that too.
The good news is that you don’t need to wait until April 2026, and we are ready to go now! So if you are self-employed and would like peace of mind for the year ahead then please get in touch.
We would like to thank all our customers for their business this year and wish them a merry festive season!
