A huge thank you to all our amazing Volunteers!
Volunteers’ Week was celebrated across the UK from 2nd – 8th June this year and we wanted to take an opportunity to recognise and thank all those who Volunteer for Cotswold Friends and make such a huge difference within our community, we simply couldn’t do what we do without them.
Volunteers’ Week is a national campaign that celebrates and recognises the diverse volunteer community in the UK by sharing stories, hosting events, engaging on social media and more to honour and inspire volunteers.
We now have just over 330 volunteers doing amazing things for us here at Cotswold Friends from as far north as Mickleton in Gloucestershire, all the way down to South Cerney near Cirencester. From helping run our Community Activities, driving clients all over the Cotswolds through our Community Transport Service, delivering our newsletters, creating amazing things at our Men in Sheds, Befriending clients in their homes, giving carers some respite through our Carer Wellbeing service, making & maintaining our beautiful Community Garden and so, so much more.
