Million Dollar Quartet
The starry summer will continue at the Barn as they have just announced Darren Day will star in their summer hit, Million Dollar Quartet. The iconic musical actor is known for his stage and television career, and will be coming to Cirencester to play Sam Phillips, the powerful music producer who brought the young stars Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins together and changed rock ’n’ roll history. Tickets for this summer extravaganza are on sale now.
Barn Bus Project
As a registered charity, the Barn is on a mission to ensure that no one ages alone. This month they are crowdfunding for their Barn Bus project, an initiative aimed at reducing rural loneliness among older people in our communities via the mental health benefits of the arts and the togetherness of live entertainment.
Just £25 pays for a place on the bus for an isolated older person. Every donation is vital – if five people give £5 they will fund a place for a person experiencing loneliness. Find out more about the crowdfunder on the Barn’s website.
