Cirencester Radio July 2024: Countdown to festival season!

We are so fortunate to live in Cirencester which offers so many events and festivals during the summer months – and Cirencester Radio wants to support them all!

Our volunteer Presenter, Sheila Lloyd Graham, was delighted to attend the Big Lunch in Abbey Grounds in June, taking the opportunity to interview as many people as possible to star in her next show Lady She and Friends. As she reported “The Big Lunch was an amazing event with hardly a blade of grass to be seen!” Next up will be the first Cotswolds Festival on 26th – 28th July at South Cerney Airfield. It sounds a spectacular event so make sure you look out for Cirencester Radio when you are there. And from a fledgling festival to one of the most well established events in Cirencester – the Phoenix Festival. What a fabulous weekend is planned in August 2024. Do make sure you add this to your diary!

Last month, you may recall, we put out a call for a new volunteer to help with our communications. Well, thank you to everyone who contacted me and I look forward to introducing you to the new team once they finish their induction. And, if you are thinking you might like to make a show – or a podcast – just give me a call on 07776 144033 or email: caroleboydell@CirencesterRadio.co.uk
