Keeping you in touch with who is doing what, where and when
I am always excited about Christmas – just ask my husband – but this year, I can hardly contain myself!
When shopping for all your festive gifts at JOY in New Brewery Arts, why not also call in to the Parish Church to see some of the most splendidly decorated trees you can imagine? One to look out for is the outdoor swimming pool tree (COASP) which is decorated with visitors’ personal memories of the pool. I hear there is plenty of space so, jot down your message about what the pool means to you and send to volunteer.team@cirenopenair.org.uk
Keeping on the ‘tree’ theme, Cirencester Park has a trail of the Twelve Trees of Christmas specially decorated by schools, charities and community groups. Running throughout the festive period until the New Year, tickets cost £2 and include a map, sweet treat and Christmas tree decoration. There are also two post boxes ready for children to post their

letters to Father Christmas. And the massively good news is Cirencester Park will be free to enter on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
No reminder needed but look out for the amazing Advent Festival over the weekend of the 29th and 30th November, organised every year by Cirencester Town Council – definitely a weekend to remember!
And for that extra special treat, make sure you don’t miss the ‘Town Crier and Vicar Sing-
Along’ on 20th December at the Parish Church. I think they are starting to queue now!
There will be lovely services too!
And finally, is this your first Christmas card? Seasons Greetings and Best Wishes to everyone!
Well, that’s all for this month but do keep in touch (email me: caroleboydell@gmail.com or call 07776 144033) and let me know if you are planning a great event over the next few months – and watch this space!
