Macmillan Update July 24

Hello everyone!

We hope you are all well and I’m sure have a busy summer planned

The Cirencester Macmillan Golf Team had a very successful day on the 14 June and despite the weather smashed all previous amounts raised annually over the years to a whopping £25.881.00 this year!

It was their 20th year running this and a huge achievement, well done to them and many thanks to all involved for all their hard work leading up to and on the day and to the many businesses supporting the event.

Our Big Band Night on the 27 July is fast approaching! Poster with details attached

The Glevum Big Band very kindly offered to give their time and perform free of charge for Macmillan, this is incredibly generous of them

We still have a few tables available so if you haven’t yet booked there is still time

If you love the Big Band sound then you’ll love this, they perform a wide range of sounds from Glenn Miller, Frank Sinatra, Swing, Jazz, Lindy Hop etc and there will be a dance floor so if you feel like dancing then feel free

A sharing charcuterie board will be served to the tables

We hope you can join us and help support this event.

I know its July and supposed to be summer, the weather was more like autumn yesterday, we are turning our thoughts to Christmas and taking bookings for stall holders for our Macmillan Christmas Fayre at the Bingham Hall on the 23 November

If you are interested in taking a stall, or know someone who might be, please email Ann Webley a.l.webley@btinternet.com  for more details and booking forms

GOOD NEWS – Our jam lady, Philippa, is back in full production and in good health again

That’s it I’m not going to ramble on!

We hope to see you soon
