The West End comes to Cirencester this festive season – between 21 November and 03 January – when Honk! plays at The Barn…
Ugly has a face only a mother can love. Down at the duckpond his siblings and friends tease him for his looks, but there’s more to this plucky ‘duckling’ than meets the eye. Lost and in peril of being eaten, Ugly undertakes an adventure of wild goose chases and mistaken identities to find out who he really is.
Bring your family to Cirencester’s Barn Theatre this Christmas to see the Oliver Award-winning show that famously beat both The Lion King and Mamma Mia! to Best New Musical; and has since been seen by millions around the world.
The cast is packed with some serious West End talent, including Timi Akinyosade, winner of the 2026 WhatsOnStage Award for Best Professional Debut Performance for Paddington The Musical, and Claire-Marie Hall, an original West End and Broadway cast member of Operation Mincemeat.
Bursting with heart and humour, Honk! takes the story of The Ugly Duckling and turns it into a fun celebration of family and finding your flock. If you’re looking for the show to bring the whole family together this Christmas, this is it. After all, Christmas isn’t Christmas without a trip to The Barn.
Tickets are on sale at barntheatre.org.uk. Or call the Box Office on 01285 648255.
