Many of us use the new year to make new resolutions … must try harder, eat healthier, be nicer! But, at Cirencester Radio, its time to turn over a new leaf and what better way to celebrate 2024 – we welcome Dan Woodward as our new Chair!
Dan has been involved with the radio scene for several years, first making shows for our community radio station as a teenager then learning the technical side of broadcasting to make a career in freelancing across the sector including working for the BBC. And now, we are very pleased to announce that Dan will be taking the lead as Cirencester Radio Chair. As you might expect, there won’t be any immediate changes to the station in January although I look forward to reporting throughout the year on all Dan’s ideas for streamlining the content and delivery of our fantastic shows.
As I step down as Chair, I would like to thank everyone for their support and good wishes. My role will now be to spearhead new projects – and I am sure there will be a lot to talk about!
