Barn Theatre: Rock ‘n’ Roll Has Landed Back in Cirencester

One of the Barn Theatre’s most beloved productions is back — and bigger than ever. Million Dollar Quartet, the electrifying musical based on a legendary recording session, runs at the Barn from 15 June to 22 August 2026.

The show tells the story of the night of 4 December 1956, when Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley met by chance at a Memphis recording studio, creating a moment that would shape the trajectory of rock ‘n’ roll music across the world.

The cast.

Audiences can expect classic songs including Blue Suede ShoesWalk The Line and Hound Dog, alongside a stellar cast. TV favourite Darren Day leads as Sun Records founder Sam Phillips, joined by Connor Payne as Elvis, Chris Erasmus as Johnny Cash, Joey Bradick as Carl Perkins, and Joe Bence — who reprises his role from the original 2022 run — as Jerry Lee Lewis.

First staged at the Barn in 2022, Million Dollar Quartet remains the show audiences talk about more than any other. Directed by Jonathan O’Boyle, this summer revival promises to be more rock ‘n’ roll than ever. Tickets are on sale now at barntheatre.org.uk.
